We offer a cozy place where your group, can not only meet in an intimate private location but also enjoy phenomenal food, gather around a roaring fire, and relax overnight in our beautiful and inviting rooms.
Only an hour and fifteen minutes from downtown Washington D.C. and forty minutes from the Dulles International Airport, we are an easy getaway for your next Northern Virginia retreat. On behalf of all of us at The Ashby, we invite you to come for a meeting but stay for the experience.

With intimate private dining rooms, a spacious Terrace, a picturesque Garden and sprawling Lawn, The Ashby has just the space you need for your event.
Event Spaces
The Porch
The sunny Porch Room can seat up to 20 guests with chair rentals.
The Tap Room
The cozy Tap Room can seat up to 14 guests. This room can be set up for two tables. The room has a seasonal gas fireplace.
The Terrace
The Terrace can seat up to 60 people. This space can be set with long tables, round tables, classroom style or with high tops for a cocktail hour. Please note: The Terrace is covered but not fully enclosed and therefore is best suited for warmer months, April to October.
Upper Dining Room
The Upper Dining Room can be set up as two round tables for up to 20 guests, one long table for 14, or in a U-shape for corporate meetings–projector and screen available at request. The room also has a seasonal gas fireplace.
The Ashby Inn Reception Hall
Our Reception Hall is a unique event space with an open concept to fit your specific needs.
The Lawn & Garden
Our back outdoor space can be used for a variety of events. For a Reception, our back lawn can be tented or left open for dinner, lawn games, fire pit and more outdoor activities. This area is also home to our Vegetable and Herb gardens, which we kindly ask remain untouched, as it is a source of produce for our restaurant.
