Breakfast is served Monday-Sunday, available to our Inn guests only from the hours of 8:30-9:30 Monday through Friday and 8:00-9:30 Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are required.

Dietary Preferences

As our menu is sourced from the freshest seasonal local products, it can be limited in scope. If you have any food allergies, please let us know when making your reservation either online or by phone so we can do our best to create the most fulfilling dining experience for you.

Holiday Menus: Due to our limited menu, and the complexities involved with individual and specific food allergies, we cannot accommodate special diets for holiday menus.

Restaurant Policies

  • Reservations are highly recommended if you would like to dine with us.
  • The corkage policy in the restaurant is $55 per each outside bottle.
  • A twenty percent gratuity will be added to all parties of six or more guests.
  • Parties of 22 or more are considered a private group and require a private group booking, which will include a customized menu at a set price. Please contact the Event Coordinator at events@ashbyinn.com should you have any questions.
  • Parties of 6 or more are required to have a credit card on file for their reservation. If you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation, you will be charged $50 per person.
  • Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions and/or severe food allergies, such as peanuts etc. when making your reservation either online or by phone, allowing us more time to plan and further your experience at The Ashby.
  • Children under 12 are not permitted during Dinner Service.  For lunch and specific holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day, Christmas Eve) children are allowed on a case by case basis. Please call 540-592-3900  to make your reservation.

  • Pets are not permitted on the property, with the exception of guide dogs.
  • Gifts of food or beverage from a party to another party either dining in the restaurant or staying at the inn will be subject to sales tax and a twenty percent gratuity.
  • We ask that any dinner reservation be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
  • For a small selection of holidays – Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day and Easter – we have a 7 day cancellation policy. During these holidays, a credit card hold is required. Any reservation cancelled within 7 days of the reservation is subject to a cancellation fee of the total base price of the holiday prix-fixe menu, per person.

  • Dress code for lunch is casual. Dress code for dinner is smart to business-casual. Jackets for men are not required.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse any gift certificate over two years old.
