Michael Shaps Wine Dinner: In addition to tasting a selection of Michael's wines, the goal of this evening will be to determine how Michael manages to harvest grapes and make wine on two continents in the Northern Hemisphere (local legend has it that he has found a way to add an hour or two to each day.) Shaps makes wine for a number of clients at Virginia Wineworks, his winemaking facility where he also makes a small selection of boutique wines for his eponymous label. This evening's focus will be on these wines. Chef Dunlap will pair a series of courses with sparkling, red, and sweet wines from Virginia that demonstrate Michael's prowess as a winemaker. $119 per person plus tax and gratuity. 7:00 p.m. Reservations required; please call 540-592-3900.

Broadbent Wine Dinner: This dinner will feature white wines that are unique, profound and intriguing. These wines feature something even die-hard, red wine-only fans will enjoy.
