Ashby Inn & Restaurant Dining

At The Ashby, the dining experience is made up of equal parts cuisine, libations, service and place. Guests of The Ashby Restaurant are treated to a meal that offers creative, progressive, farm-to-table food, a range of wines, beers and spirits from our backyard and around the world, and genuine hospitality all of which is set against the bountiful backdrop of the Blue Ridge.

Beginning Wednesday, September 17th, we will be offering a wine tasting in our Tap Room from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. 

October is Virginia Wine Month!

Lunch: Wednesday thru Saturday from 12:00pm-2:00pm
Dinner: Wednesday thru Saturday from 5:30pm-9:00pm, Sunday from 5:00pm-8:00pm
Brunch: Sunday from 12:00pm-2:00pm

*Sunday, November 9th: Veteran's Day Brunch.  Veterans eat free, all others $45.

*Thursday, November 27th: Thanksgiving Day brunch. Three courses for $75 per person with a children's menu offered for $39 per child.

*While we would like to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee seating at a certain table or time.

Dietary Restrictions

The Ashby Inn takes great pride in providing our guests with a meal sourced from the freshest local products. To achieve this, the menu changes daily and is limited in its scope. This approach requires advance notice in order to meet the needs of guests with legitimate dietary restrictions or serious food allergies. If you have food allergies or if your diet carries certain restrictions, including pescetarian, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free, please provide us with a minimum of twenty-four hours notice to be able to create a menu specific to your needs. Please note in as much detail as possible all restrictions at the time of reservation as this will aid in offering a menu that satisfies your dietary requirements and ensures an optimum experience at the table

The Ashby Restaurant is committed to supporting the farmers and artisans that live and work in this region. This menu represents the freshest, seasonal products that can be sourced locally from sustainable operations. The offerings change daily in concert with what our local farmers and nature provide. We pledge to provide a quality experience founded on food and drink from sources we know and trust. A twenty percent gratuity will be added to parties of eight or more. *Chef’s Tasting Menus require the participation of the entire table. *Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of food-borne illness.
